CEO (Cupcake Enthusiast Officer)
Oh My! Catery
Amelita has been an almost life long resident of Collin County. She has watched with great amazement and pride as Collin County has grown from a group of small farming communities to the bustling urban environments we see today offering everything you could find in any major city without losing the small town feel and appeal.
Following high school graduation from Plano East Senior High, (first graduating class!!!), Amelita went on to the University of Oklahoma earning degrees in both psychology and interior design. She returned to North Texas and worked in the design field for almost 20 years, including serving as the in-house designer for two national retail chains.
Her husband Charles is a veteran of the restaurant industry and he introduced her to “the other side of the menu” in 1995. While Amelita had been toying with the thought of starting her own business for quite some time, she found that more and more her ideas were leading her towards the foodservice industry.
Everything fell into place in 2010 and Oh My! Catery was born; and Amelita has never looked back. Today you will find her baking and serving cupcakes and basking in the smiles and delightful oohs, ahs, and OH MY’s she hears every time a guest discovers they are getting to experience an Oh My! Catery creation!
